Denmark’s Rowing Stadium at Bagsværd Lake fulfils the vision of creating a rowing stadium in an international league of its own. Beautifully situated with water and forest on all sides, it is a place that accommodates both the elite and the broader public.

Design: Fran Silvestre Arquitectos. To optimize the vision of the landscape, a series of slender spaces are intertwined as they adapt to the descending topography. Each of these pieces is deposited half a floor below the previous one. This way, its alternating arrangement allows all the spaces to have a direct view over the beach.
The Open International Urban Landscaping and Design Competition is a part of the “Moscow.Flowers.Sweets” Festival. Participants are offered to suggest solutions for landscape and floral compositions to improve Moscow urban spaces in the city centre and its outskirts.
Design: Moxon Architects. Culardoch Shieling, a mountain hut in Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands, has been completed by Moxon Architects. Located at the foot of Culardoch, the remote new shieling (Scottish Gaelic term for hut) looks out across the expanse of the scenic upper Glen Gairn.

WW+P worked with Engenuiti, Integration and Building Trust International to design a building which was flexible and adaptable to meet current and future needs. It comprises three additional classrooms, a library and a covered external classroom with a sunken play area, which doubles as a small amphitheatre.
Design: Zaha Hadid Architects featured in today’s Google Doodle – the design of this intriguing building is a departure from the rigid and often monumental architecture of the former Soviet Union that is so prevalent in Baku. Instead, the building aspires to express the sensibilities and diversity of Azeri culture.
Design: Robert Hutchison Architecture. This small residence located on the banks of the White River five miles from Mt. Rainier quietly blends into the surrounding forest. An entry courtyard serves as a transition space from outdoors to indoors, and keeps the ubiquitous elk herds at bay.
Architect : Rogers, Stirk, Harbour, and Partners. Working on top of ARUP’s structural steel frame, AR-MA worked with ARC Roofing to design, fabricate, assemble, and install, the roof modules, finished with flat-lock zinc panel, within exceptionally tight tolerances.
Design: ZWEI Interiors Architecture. Working within the context of an existing CBD building, the design strips back the built layers and exposes the site’s history and amplifies this to create narrative and connection within the interior space.
Architects: Ministry of Design. MOD was commissioned to design the branding and spatial experience for RACE, a new robotic facility aimed at educating, and introducing robots into automating existing manufacturing industries.
Architects Berman Guedes Stretton create a new visual focal point for the University of Warwick. A new state-of-the-art teaching centre named The Oculus features an impressive 18m tall glazed frontage to University Road beneath a striking curved laminated timber roof
