The project involved extensive remodelling of this existing 70’s modernist house by Gergely and Pinter Architects. Exterior architectural forms took geometric and formal cues from key elements in its natural setting which then transformed into the interior with a layered, eclectic and rich patina of materiality.

BLP Sydney expands its horizons
After 7 years of growth and expansion, BLP Sydney have outgrown their space and are moving to an agile and collaborative studio designed by their workplace team. The new home will accommodate their team of 70 designers across one level.
BLP will occupy the top floor of 80 Cooper Street in a warehouse filled with natural light. Their exclusive rooftop space takes in the views across Surry Hills to the Sydney City skyline.
From mid-October 2018 the new office address in Sydney is:

The New South Wales State Government in Australia is proposing to demolish the main Sydney Football Stadium in Sydney’s south-eastern suburbs and replace it with a new stadium on the same site at a cost of $705 m.There has been broad public opposition to the proposal based on the wasteful use of government funds to demolish and rebuild.

This 200-seat restaurant is located within the newly rebuilt Mona Vale Hotel on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The space has internal double-height dining areas, external courtyard with retractable roofs and various private dining rooms, an open kitchen, internal cocktail bar, external main bar, plus large open internal and external fireplaces.

The Emanuel campus includes a heritage listed Synagogue completed in 1941 which accommodates 1200 worshippers. A second Sanctuary designed by Aaron Bolot was completed in the 1960’s and seats 250.
