Design: Stephenson Design Collective. A small home in the residential neighborhood of Ballard in Seattle, WA was carefully dismantled by hand to salvage every piece of material to create the Lark House. A covered patio off of the living room doubles interior space when opened.
Design: COBE, architects – new photos. Forfatterhuset Kindergarten, a new daycare center building in Nørrebro with curved corners, lush roof gardens and a contextual brick facade that gives the building a warm modern feel.
Design: David Rockwell, Architect – Centre of Civil and Human Rights is a new purpose built museum in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, that tells the parallel stories of both the Civil Rights movement in the USA and also the global story of the Human Rights.
Design: Tziallas Omeara Architecture Studio. The aim for this project was to design an extension for a heritage listed Bowral cottage – one which was discreet and distinct, but also allow the original cottage to appear unchanged from the street.
Design: Strachan Group Architects. Having bought a farm building in Karaka, near Auckland, NZ, the clients wanted to convert the building into a 3 bedroom home with space for guests. They wanted a contemporary house that would blend in with the surroundings.
Architects: Poly Studio. White Delight House, in the Melbourne inner-city suburb of Prahran, consists of a new contemporary verandah inserted at the back of a Victorian weatherboard villa.
Design: SAOTA, Architects. 109 Hatfield Street is located in gardens near the vibrant City Bowl in Cape Town, and is surrounded by iconic landmarks like Table Mountain, Lions Head and Parliament.

These two multi-storey properties respect the scale of the adjacent residential centre. Both buildings optimally integrate in the landscape as a result of their underground garage and the planting of dune grasses.

The Hemingzhou Hotspring Resort & Spa is located away from the hustle and bustle in cities. The developer’s aim is to build a resort for ecological recuperating and resting the visitor’s mind and body.
Design: Adelfio Anello Architetti. Design of the buvette of theatre and the bookshop in the adjoining room overlooking Piazza Verdi, in order to achieve a cafe open to the city, even outside of the show times and a bookshop with merchandising for the theater.
Design: Bourgeois / Lechasseur architects. The name, Altaïr House, refers to the brightest star in the Aquila constellation. Altaïr House is located in Cap-à-l’Aigle, in the region of Charlevoix. Altaïr means “The Flying Eagle.” The building appears discrete from the street, but unfolds toward the river away from the street, as though ready to take flight.

Design: Deture Culsign, Architecture+Interiors. Take a walk on the one-mile beach of this 12-key 200 acre eco-resort, and you might see an elliptical shaped bamboo wrapped platform balanced between the canopy of palms above and the green shrubbery below.
