Autrement rue Rebière Paris 17e
“A last floor at every floors”
The two buildings stand within a narrow stretch of land with a width of twelve meters, in spite of this constrained configuration the design is freeing itself from it through the expression of the volumes offering “an true attic at every level”.
Different and complementary, the two buildings have a visual contrapuntal communication, in rhythm with the Rue Rebière.
Whilst the first one expresses major horizontal lines towards the public space, the second is inspired by the trunk’s lines and tree’s canopy, embodied by the use of a vertical wooden cladding.
The first building, in dark black concrete and partially covered with diamond stainless-steel, plays in introducing successive shifts between the different levels. Shadows and reflections (metallic glints), concede a kind of lightness, as if the plates were sliding one over the other.
The second building, conceived with a beam-column structure filled with a wooden frame with wooden cladding skin, is organized as piled houses.
Its volumetry allows the development of open sky terraces. On the ground floor level, the link with the street is arranged with private planted gardens which give rhythm to the built volumes and the vegetation.
In a more urban aspect, the variations and shifts of the different levels express a feeling of a volume built with a clear concern of the pedestrian scale. From below, this expression of suspended plates gives way to an “architectural vision”.
The interiors of each accommodation benefit with multiple sun light exposure, as a prolongation of the generous and singular outdoor spaces.

“Un dernier étage à tous les étages”
Ces deux bâtiments s’inscrivent dans une petite bande contrainte d’une largeur de 12m, tout en trouvant une liberté de volume afin d’offrir un « dernier étage à tous les étages ».
Différents et complémentaires, ils se répondent et rythment la rue Rebière. Tandis que l’un avance ses lignes horizontales sur l’espace public, l’autre semble vouloir atteindre la cime des arbres avec son bardage bois vertical.
Le premier bâtiment, en inox recuit brilliant et béton noir, se joue de décalages successifs entre les étages. Les ombres et reflets confèrent au bâti une sorte de légèreté, comme si les plateaux avaient glissés les uns sur les autres.
Le deuxième immeuble, en structure poteau-poutre et remplissage à ossature bois, abrite des maisons empilées. Sa volumétrie permet de trouver des terrasses plein ciel. Le rapport à la rue est géré par des jardins privatifs plantés qui cadencent le parcours entre volumes construits et végétation.
Urbainement les décrochés et variations suivant les étages offrent la sensation d’un volume construit plus en rapport avec l’échelle du piéton. Ce jeu de suspension donne une vision architecturale également en sous faces.
A l’intérieur, chaque logement bénéficie d’un séjour à multiple orientation dans la continuité d’un espace extérieur singulier et généreux.
