A prototype low-energy house located on a brown-field site. It’s simple sculptural form consists of three cantilevered (or slipped) boxes, the uppermost sheathed by a translucent glass screen. This upper box houses living space and connects to a ‘sky garden’.

Consell Kindergarten is the extension of the School Complex “Bartomeu Ordines” in Consell, Mallorca, Spain. This new Spanish nursery building is composed of: six classrooms (for children between 3 and 5 years old), one psychomotor classroom and a dining area including kitchen.
The Inside-Out Museum, located on the foothills of Fragrant Mountain to the west of Beijing was completed in December 2012. Given that the structure was already designed by CADRG, the largest architectural conglomerate in China, the present project was limited to the design of its interiors.

The maintenance area is designed as the place where owners will stay with their cars. When wandering about in the cloud of information, things are not recognized clearly for what they are as each bit of information is not clearly defined in either its characteristic or identity.
The building is developed on a square plan of 30 m per side for a total height of 6 m on ground level. The North, East and West facades are made of extra-white double glazing mounted on slender steel frames to allow lightness and transparency of the building and to ensure continuous open views towards the park.
Design: Mary Laheen Architects. The new extension is located at the street edge of the site on a busy road leading from the city centre to the west. The limited site necessitated a three- or four-storey building located towards the edge of the existing playground and therefore the provision of play space at roof level.
