A house for an industrial designer standing in a quiet residential area in metropolitan Tokyo. It was required that this house be not only private in nature but also in coexistence with the client’s feelings for his life’s work, the industrial design.

The dwelling is located in the residential neighbourhood of Acorán, in an area of rapid growth in the southwest of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The programme for this house seeks to create a sense of belonging for a couple through the construction of a sense of place common to both Hunter and Bird.

Located at an altitude of approximately 400 meters, the premise in Onitori is nestled in the corner of an agricultural settlement on the eastern side of the Ikoma Mountain Range. Bordering Nara and Osaka Prefectures, the house has been constructed for a family of two.
Situated in a quite dense suburban setting, the house twists dynamically between sheltering for privacy and opening up for angles of vistas.
