Situated only 100 metres from the Barwon River, Riverwalk house is a simple series of gabled forms, creating a spacious home while making the most of a central garden and open space for active boys.
House in House in Fitzroy North design by Steffen Welsch Architects is an exploration of site boundary as limiter, as a frame to both internal and external spaces, form and void. It is a new build in a streetscape with significant heritage value.
Design: Steffen Welsch Architects. Marysville House is a 60 sqm double height (with sleeping mezzanine) ‘container’ with 62 sqm deck on 5588 sqm of land. The site, a steeply sloping site, backs onto the nearby state forest and overlooks the town.
