Estonia architecture buildings designs

New Estonian architecture projects with building news and architectural images, plus architects background. Estonia building news from across this Baltic country.

Piil Treehouse by Arsenit is an elegant, pre-fabricated treehouse with a compact plan. The property is elevated to minimise ground-level presence and provide generous views out to the vast Estonian wilderness.

Also worth noting is the international architecture competition for the Tartu Downtown Cultural Centre. The purpose of the single-stage contest was not only for the physical structure but also outdoor space. Participants are invited to design a city library, art museum, event centre with multifunctional black-box and other activities supporting the cultural centre with a biologically diverse and active park and human scale public space.
