Design: John McAslan + Partners. Transformative scheme for a major new development has won planning approval. As strategic estate advisers the practice identify current and future development opportunities for the school’s Brook Green site in west London.
Design: Grimshaw Architects / BVN. The first high-tech, high-rise public school is to be built in Australia’s New South Wales, through an investment of more than AUD 100 million. Global construction consultancy Turner & Townsend is to provide full cost management services and advisory for this project.
Design: Bogle Architects: The International School Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC) is a new secondary school designed by Bogle Architects, providing teaching facilities for over 900 students, with an internationally renowned education programme.
Design: Walters & Cohen. At the heart of the school is the Arcade, a triple height circulation space linking new and existing elements of the campus. The Arcade is the main focus of the school and provides the new main entrance.
Design: De Rosee Sa and PMR. Much-loved children’s author Roald Dahl was the inspiration for a new dining hall and after school facility in Buckinghamshire’s Prestwood Infant School.
Design: BIG with Leo A Daly architects – this design for the Wilson Secondary School, a public school in Arlington, Virginia, is by architecture team of BIG and Leo A Daly.
Design: Squire and Partners. Occupying an area of the school grounds once home to an ad hoc collection of sheds, this new Design Technology block accommodates 20 students and 2 teaching staff.
Design: Berman Guedes Stratton, Architects. This design provides 1,130sqm of fluid, sophisticated space with the ambience of a global HQ plus two 100-seat lecture theatres, IT centre, reception and various meeting rooms.
Design: JJW Architects. Surprises and new experiences are central concepts for this building. On each floor, plans change and the heights of the rooms vary throughout. The school also features a variety of horizontal and vertical connections and spaces.
Design: Martin van der Linden, Architects. After a devastating earthquake and tsunami hit the town, a request to help came from a ‘longtime friend’ of Yamada machi in The Hague, the Netherlands. This group offered the town a facility where children would have a place to play, heal and come together.
Broadway Malyan Architects win the commission to design a new international school in the heart of Singapore for one of Asia’s largest education organisations.
Danish architecture firm Henning Larsen Architects named as the design architects for a new educational facility, the French International School’s (FIS) Tseung Kwan O campus in Hong Kong.
