Nièvre’s Departmental Archives in France. The rundown building housing Nièvre’s departmental archives has undergone rehabilitation and been provided with an extension. Two new buildings are positioned in parallel with the existing rehabilitated building.
Design: Tectoniques Architectes. Block 32 occupies a strategic position in the vast programme to renovate the Duchère neighbourhood, in Lyon. The OPAC du Rhône housing association has produced a building which incorporates 33 social rental housing units, 1,500m2 of office space dedicated to health-related activities, and has retail space throughout the ground floor.
Although the building has not yet reached completion, Charter Hall’s $175 million 100 Skyring has already created a prominent gateway to the Gasworks precinct, heralding the continued evolution of Brisbane’s near city office market.

Design: TateHindle. New Fetter Place, the redevelopment adjacent to Holborn Circus, has been completed. It comprises a newly regenerated 12-storey octagonal shaped tower at 8-10 New Fetter Lane and a newly constructed six-storey link building at 55 Fetter Lane.
The design for the 135,000 sqft redevelopment included extensions to the octagonal shaped tower, a new façade, remodelled service core and new mechanical & electrical services to provide an additional 40% of Class A office accommodation.

ASB North Wharf in Auckland by Australian architects BVN Donovan Hill in association with New Zealand architects Jasmax received this coveted prize at the New Zealand Architecture Awards announced in Auckland on 9 May.
Design: Söhne & Partner Architekten. To include the building complex very naturally into the environment, it is placed on different landscape levels. The use of typical colours and patterns does not only help to fit the complex into the natural landscape, it also refers to the already existing UPC building.
