Milanofiori Office Building, Palazzo per uffici U27

Design: Park Associati. The architectural design is based on an analytical approach to the articulated system of access to the Milanofiori Nord area, the pedestrian walkways and roads, climatic factors relating to the context and the goal of properly integrating the building into the overall masterplan.

The building has been designed in such a way as to create a visual continuity between the natural landscape of the wood at the north and the designed landscape of the site itself.

Doncaster Civic Office, Yorkshire commercial property

Design: Cartwright Pickard Architects. Doncaster Council’s new Civic Offices assist the Council to rationalise their estate, bringing many departments together under one roof in a purpose-built, low energy building.

Cartwright Pickard Architects worked alongside Muse Developments and Wates Construction to deliver this new BREEAM Excellent workplace for up to 1,600 staff.

Chaoyang Park Plaza Beijing buildings, China

This project pushes the boundary of the urbanization process in modern cosmopolitan life by creating a dialogue between artificial scenery and natural landscapes.

Design: Ben van Berkel / UNStudio’s design has been selected as the winning entry in the competition for the remodelling of the Hanwha Headquarters building in Seoul. The renovation of the office tower incorporates the remodelling of the facade, the interior of the common spaces, lobbies, meeting levels, auditorium and executive areas, along with the redesign of the landscaping.

The linear double corridor scheme of the old public buildings have been developed into a curvilinear scheme to overcome the problem of fitting into the limited site.

Design: Reza Aliabadi [rzlbd]. The space is divided into three equal zones, which similar to a yellowtail fish, connects the head, body and the tail with a yellow strip. The yellow corridor on one side connects the rooms and minimizes the circulation space within the office.

5 Broadgate Development, UBS London

Design: make architects. The new 5 Broadgate development, currently under construction for Swiss Bank UBS, has officially ‘topped-out’. The building, which forms part of the Broadgate Estate, was designed by international architectural practice Make, and will provide 700,000 sqft of Grade ‘A’ office space over twelve floors. The new building will allow UBS to consolidate its London trading operations into one building.

The 12 story building will contain 25,000m2 of office space., the ground floor contains gardens and a restaurant. There is also a business club, conference centre, gym and pool on the top floor.

The innovative building will anchor a prime intersection bordering the Historic West Village District.

Glass Office by MVRDV in Hong Kong

Construction has started on the Cheung Fai building in Hong Kong which transforms a former warehouse into offices for creative companies.
The building is in Kwun Tong waterfront in the business area of East Kowloon. It aims to create a luxurious loft style working environment by replacing everything but the primary concrete structure of the building with glass and stainless steel infill.

Allianz Headquarters in Zürich Offices

Design: Wiel Arets Architects (WAA). The Allianz Headquarters is a hybrid-office and the pinnacle of a master planned mixed-use district on the edge of Zürich’s city center. Comprised of a 20-story tower and a 5-story annex, these two components are externally linked by a series of four bridges, and vertically linked by numerous interior voids and staircases.
