The Perth Zoo’s Orang-utan Exhibit upgrade is our utopian project. It has combined many of our interests in the one project and proved to be a challenging and stimulating design task.
When Australia was colonized in 1788 there were some 700 individual Aboriginal Nations speaking some 250 individual languages. Today there are less than 150 languages still spoken and all but 20 of these are regarded as endangered.
The firm was selected by the community to design an office, training centre and staff house for Walmajarri Inc., an Aboriginal Corporation representing a group of Walmajarri people whose country is located in the Great Sandy Desert.

This two storey river front home is situated on an established residential island in Australia’s Gold Coast. Intimately designed by the architect for his young active family, the residence reflects their dynamic outdoor lifestyle and love of the water.
The house was designed to encourage the occupant to experience different emotions as they inhabit the residence on a day to day basis.
Studio 197 occupies a sliver of land at the rear of a 400m2 lot facing Cairns Esplanade. It was intended as a work/home studio and temporary home for the owner while the front of the lot was developed.
