News Update – planning permission unanimously approved in 2010

Fraser Brown MacKenna have just submitted a planning application for this mixed use development, incorporating 92 apartments and a 230 bedroom hotel on a gateway site in the London Borough of Greenwich. The building completes St James’ successful OneSE8 development and lies adjacent to Deals Gateway DLR station.

The development incorporates a hotel, to address the shortage of bedspaces in Greenwich following the opening of the O2 venue in the Millennium Dome. The budget hotel is located along the principal frontage, facing the busy Greenwich High Road, with two residential wings containing apartments, creating a private courtyard to the rear. The ground floor provides three retail units, creating an active frontage.
