Yuntai Mountain is covered with cloud and fog, which is well arranged and leaving a deep impression on people. The design takes the form of mountains as an intention, and uses a Chinese character “山”,which means mountain in English, as a metaphor of architecture, emphasizing the sense of place.

Dongting Lake Museum, namely Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone Planning Museum is a large-scale comprehensive museum building located in the cultural pavilion area of Dongting Lake Expo Park in Junshan District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, on the east side of Tourist Road and the west bank of the Hao River.

The architect is by no means the dictator of building form – instead, the form of the museum is given collectively by dinosaurs from 80 million years ago, geologist on the excavation mission started in 2011 and the Architect. The morphology of the design roots in spatial distribution of the dinosaur eggs and vertical variation of the on-site topography.
