The building of the casino was completed in 1997, and the complex has several bars, up to three luxury hotels, nightclubs and restaurants, with a selection of very impressive and high end retail outlets, including shops for brands like Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Bvlgari, Prada and Harrods.

Here, amazing dining is available for guests, as presented by Nobu Matsuhisa – the Japanese restaurateur, and the British celebrity chef, Heston Blumenthal. There is also a 2,200 capacity ballroom where some of the most prestigious functions in the city are held, including the TV Week Logie Awards and the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix Ball.

The complex is very impressive, and there is a proposal to add another tower to it, so as to add to the 1,600 room capacity. With one Queenbridge added to the tower, it will become a total of 90 storey, making it the tallest building in the country.

In terms of games, the crown delivers some of the best table games to players. Dice, wheel and card games are also on offer here too, and the casino has 2,500 licensed gaming machines, plus 3,500 poker machines.

The biggest attraction to this place is poker games, and the Aussie Millions poker tournament, which is the richest in the entire southern hemisphere, is hosted here. International acts like Stomp, ABBA Revival, and Dance of Desire have graced the theater on occasions, attracting many visitors. After the renovation of 2006, the two floors were replaced by a single gaming floor. This casino that runs round the clock is licensed to offer 1,600 electronic gaming machines, including hyperlink games, slots, and pokies.
