The new Herningsholm Vocational School asserts itself as an independent building in an existing campus cluster of educational buildings. The school is designed inside-out – with a focus on the creation of optimal learning and study environments – as well as out-side-in, in relation to the surrounding context where welcoming urban spaces provide possibilities for outdoor work and teaching.

The new Bagsvaerd School in Denmark has been formed by amalgamating two local schools.

Split levels, double-height rooms and a high degree of transparency characterise the spacious complexity of this Danish education building, while the overall design and spaces have been well worked out with the finer details carefully considered in relation to colour, texture and materials.

The ancient paper factory is a symbol of an important part of the local working class memory. The architectural conversion suggested by the agency had three principle axis of development.

On an abandoned suburb, the project made waking up every day to attend school under an outstanding green-roofed structure as a child’s right. The Marcel Sembat High School offers technical education about motors and vehicle mechanics. It demands vast spaces with high ceilings and large surfaces. It’s located in a declining industrial suburb of the port of Rouen, France.
