Dedicated to art businesses, restaurants and retail, the building aims to transform the urban environment by creating a new focus for art and entertainment alongside HK’s historic Pottinger Street.
Architects: Yiduan Shanghai Interior Design. In this architectural project the designer looks at how to break through stereotypes of design under a background of “secular fashion deluge”. The design is inspired by the concept of ‘water’.
Architects: Biasol: Design Studio. A plain shopfront in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs plays host to this compact cafe with a sleek minimalist fitout. It was an opportunity for Biasol: Design Studio to work again with one of their previous clients, the team behind Lilydale’s Hutch & Co.
Architects: Biasol: Design Studio. Situated in the popular bayside suburb of Elwood, The Milton exemplifies the ongoing gentrification of the area and it’s rich literary and architectural history.
Design: Yamazaki Kentaro Design. Located in Itoman, Okinawa, the aim of this project is to support and promote local tradition and culture through its cuisine. The restaurant is covered in Ryukyu limestone and constructed via a “masonry workshop” organized by the project collaborators.
Design: Berarducci Architecture. Interior spaces inspired by the temples of Fushimi Inari in Kyoto. The project is conceived as a process, a sequence of steps and direction changes, which gradually reveal the interior.
Design: Hiramoto Design Studio, Architects. Located on the second floor of glass curtain wall building, facing main street of a fashionable neighborhood. As they have a great view from this tenant’s window, “building a connection with the neighborhood” spontaneously becomes the architects’ design challenge.
Design: Richard Lindvall. Interior for celebrated restaurateurs Tim Karlsson and Michael Andreasson. The building was used by the Swedish Tax Agency: a maze of tiny meeting rooms with low ceilings were stripped out, removing any trace of the old bureaucrats.
Design: NAN Arquitectos. This architectural interior was based around La Torta, a typical Galician sweet, as an area to buy or take away “La Torta”, as well as a space to accompany this product with a coffee or a soft drink.
Architects: CAS. Crepe Bechamel modern restaurant serves with its elegance for it has gained power through its fresh interior fashion, achieved by Comelite Architecture & Structure.
LW Design Win Restaurant Design Award At SBID Awards 2016 – rustic reclaimed timbers contrast with luxurious Italian Statuario Marble, with highlights in a brushed bronze metal finish.
Design: Normless_architecture studio & workplace. A new Cups Nine shop opens, this time as a Cafe & Patisserie. The building is located in the heart of the school district, opposite of one of the most popular city squares.

The PH COFFEE cafe is situated in Beijing Financial Street. This is a gathering place of numerous financial institutes and enterprise headquarters, serving customer groups from all walks of life.
Design: Metaform architects
The new building is interwoven around the existing house, inspired by the Japanese art of origami. It resembles a folded sheet of paper that answers to the program requirements, while creating a relation with the old and opening up to the natural surroundings.
