Design: Naturehumaine, architects. Having bought a beautiful plot of wooded land in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, the client dreamt of building a country house that would be in perfect symbiosis with its natural environment.
Design Team: Tim Cheng, Hui Ren, Xin Qi. CHAO is a boutique-style hotel situated in the hustling Sanlitun. The design inspiration for the 180 rooms and five different room types is from the “Nest” of animals.

Design: Thomas Winwood Architecture. Contained by a stone clad boundary wall, with the temple in the north east and the shared spaces in the heart of the property. The buildings have been arranged and constructed to create an airy, tranquil and easy feeling.

In order to create a clean, concise space with affinity, the designer applies traditional white wall and grey tile tone into the space, and matches with the warm wood colour.
Design: Main Office. The concept of the interior is following the line of simplicity. Situated in the city-center of Gothenburg, Sweden, it is placed in a historical building from the 17th century.
Design: MRTN Architects. By including usable living spaces along the length of the corridor we were able to give the client not only a study and storage, but also north facing spaces to live in with the ten by one a half metre corridor.
Design: Dorrington Atcheson Architects. This tight site in Kohimarama granted the possibility to design a house on a reduced platform that dropped off to a cliff and pocket of native bush.

A former garage space in the de Pijp area, turned into a spacious house naturally lit by large roof lights. The interior with a generous 230 sqm on one floor level is finished in a simple material palette.
This Missouri residence design by Studio Build is located in the Westside neighborhood, within walking distance of downtown Kansas City. By approaching the house on axis with the interior circulation, the order of the house is established immediately.

Rainbow House by Architects MINARC completes all the R’s: re-purposed, re-used, re-cycled. This 5-unit apartment building was converted to a single-family residence by remodeling less than 50% of the existing structure. This simple eco-conscious design is focused on functionality and creating a healthy breathing family environment.
