Olssons Wine Bar
Smörgåsbaren is as foodbar serving exclusive fusion sandwiches in a harmony with a diverse range of drinks and beers in a relaxed and professional environment.
The concept of the interior is following the line of simplicity. Located in the city-center of Gothenburg, Sweden, it’s placed in an old, historical building from the 17th century. Existing conditions of the space are enhanced, original ornaments freshened up, and walls simply re-painted white.
With an approximate size of 50 m2, the interior is very simple; the 10-meter food-bar with its thick top of zinc, is stretched along the whole room facing the street. The bar-overhang following the bar creates a chandelier lighting up the space. All loose furniture are made out of concrete, steel and leather, a palette with material transforming well over time.
