Vertical House in Lima

The Vertical House is on a small and irregular lot overlooking the bay of Lima.

The limited space -105 sqm- poses a vertical development program which is distributed in four levels: 1st service, 2nd social area, 3rd master bedroom, 4th bedroom sons and roof.

A relationship of transparency and opacity depending on the countryside and the program then arises, opening the social and private areas of the house overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The box is separated from the base creating a large space open to the landscape. The white block contains the master bedroom, which runs through the whole front of the house, facing the sea, and the two guest bedrooms, located on the back of the lot.

This project is conceived as a large box nestled in the ground towards the sea. This vast space is divided in two levels. On the upper level, the social area and on the lower one, the bedroom level.

A beach house for a family with three children. The land clearly laid out 2 axes so we made 2 wings. In the ground floor there’s one wing with the kids bedrooms and in front of them is the second wing with the master bedroom and the tv room, they join in the front side and made the social area (living room/dining room/kitchen).
