More than a house – a new home for students by BE Hauvette Paris inaugurated

The practise BE Hauvette Paris, youngest member of Baumschlager Eberle Group, has designed a building which fulfills the diverse needs of the inhabitants. The basic requirements for contemplation and communication are here complied.
Premise for it is the positioning of the apartments around a central, roofed court-yard. Students and researchers can retire to their own rooms but they also have the possibility to communicate in the ample corridors or in the cafeteria.
The architcture of BE Hauvette Paris improves the qualities of these communcation areas. A glazing covers all stores in the court-yard and provides transparency and good lighting.

The new house is not only a functional builiding, it is even more, it is a home with a special atmosphere. While the court-yard comes with a soft-touch the facade towards the Eco Place Rungis is rather robust in its appearance.
The sculptural look of the new home makes it a self-contained part within the new-building-area at Eco Place Rungis.
