Castelnau Apartments in Montreal
DevMcGill and TMSA will start construction on Castelnau Phase IV, the final phase of the Castelnau condominium development, with a groundbreaking ceremony on April 27 at 11 a.m.
Media, partners, Castelnau owners from all phases and the public are invited to attend the event. It will be followed by a reception at the sales office, where guests will have the opportunity to tour the model unit. It is a great opportunity to learn about every aspect of the prestigious development’s fourth phase.
Distinctive architecture and refined interiors
Located on Gary Carter Street, Castelnau Phase IV will have 96 units (condos and penthouses), from 1 to 3 bedrooms, with 9 to 11 foot ceilings and either a balcony or a terrace. Designed by the architecture firm of lemay+CHA, the six-story concrete building will stand out for its elegant contemporary style and superior soundproofing. Large windows will provide natural light throughout the day along with superb views of Jarry Park. The residential units and common areas such as the entrance were designed by the firm of Labrie Daigle, which has created innovative, sophisticated concepts for the project.
Exclusive common areas and abundant green space
Residents of all four Castelnau phases have access to a range of exclusive services and common areas: two exercise rooms with free weights and modern equipment, a yoga and Pilates area, and a sauna and spa with changing rooms. The project also includes indoor parking. The complex will have extensive landscaped grounds including gardens and paths, covering more than half the site. Castelnau Phase IV represents a balance between comfort, luxury and country serenity.
An exceptional location
The project enjoys direct access to countless useful services, green spaces, restaurants and cafés, as well as excellent connections to major arteries and public transportation routes. Castelnau Phase IV will face one of Montreal’s largest parks, Jarry Park, providing excellent views and rural quiet in the heart of the city. With several sports fields, pool, outdoor rink, children’s playgrounds, fountain and pond, the park has something for everyone, in every season. Residents will also be just five minutes’ walk from the Jean-Talon Market, North America’s largest outdoor public market and a Montreal institution offering a huge selection of local and imported products. Steps away, residents will find one of Montreal’s most popular neighbourhoods, Little Italy. This is the perfect place to enjoy European charm and Italian traditions, thanks to the area’s many trattorias, cafés, shops and fine grocery stores, along with plenty of colourful sporting and cultural events.
Sales of Castelnau Phase IV units have already begun, and construction will start in the spring of 2016 after the completion of soil decontamination.
