Designed by Marshall Strabala, Director of Design at Gensler, a global architecture and design firm, Discovery Tower Houston is a 80918 square meters (871,000 square foot) property. The 32-story office building in Houston was slated for completion in 2010.
The project will integrate the latest “green building” features, including wind turbines on the facility’s roof to generate windpower. The building will be located at 1501 McKinney in downtown Houston.

The office building is located along the edge of a 12-acre park that is quickly being surrounded by residential high-rises, restaurants, hotels, arenas, and other amenities meant to being modern downtown living to Houston.
Two floors of restaurants and shops are expected to open up within a leisurely walk of the greenspace that is drawing thousands of people to an area that used to be little more than surface parking lots.
