Design: Broissin Architectes. Inspired in the movement of a conductor’s baton, the building design is composed of five concrete roofs moving up and down in harmony to give shape, space and light to the project. Each roof represents a staff’s line, always straight, constant and parallel.

Nicole Vidalakis had contemplated building her dream house for years before finding the perfect site in Portola Valley, a semi-rural enclave on the peninsula south of San Francisco.
Architecture: studio mk27 and galeria arquitetos. The arrival at this house is through an architectural trajectory, via an open ramp, located on the eastern side of the construction. This space is protected by hollowed-out concrete elements to the side, which create surprising effects of light and end up functioning as protection from bad weather conditions.
