Architect: FAHR 021.3. The celebratory piece Eclipse marks the 20th anniversary of the classification of the historic centre of Porto as Unesco World Heritage site. A temporary installation, Eclipse is a project by architecture studio FAHR 021.3.
Design: Atelier in.vitro. The objective was to rehabilitate a set of 3 existing apartments, each one with an area of about 200 sqm, maintaining its housing function with large typologies and allowing simultaneously its use as touristic units.
With a total of 3 floors, the housing was thought of form to adapt it the declivity of the land, allowing a good functioning and joint of all spaces, preventing a construction with too much impact, design by AZO. Sequeira Arquitectos
AZO. Sequeira Arquitectos designed this residence which appears parallel to the existing street, openup the Northeast and close to the street in order to ensure privacy to the common areas of the house
Architect: João Mendes Ribeiro. Claus Porto, a Portuguese 130 years old scents brand, has opened it’s first flagship store in Lisbon downtown. A heritage built not just by their impressive material assets, but also by their intangible patrimony, linked to the objects’ symbolic quality and value.
A 113 sqm vertical garden in new restaurant/gallery/concert venue next to the river in Belem, Lisbon. It wraps around the kitchen inserted into this renovated 1940s pavilion. Several windows cuts through the plant surface.
Design: Contaminar Arquitectos. The shape of the house stretches on the ground, unfolding from a wall that supports three volumes. Each one has a different scale, offering a different experience, resulting in a dynamic and playful composition.
Architects: Miguel Marcelino. The school building setting allows a close relationship with nature, located in the countryside, the new primary school + kindergarten is surrounded by beautiful adult trees.
Design: A2OFFICE, architects. This architecture project is a rehabilitation of a 19th Century building with an unusual triangle-shaped planimetry. Despite an area of only 52sqm four lofts have been formed.
