This is a project which repairs the old timbered house in Japan and builds a small atelier. Since there was little cost, rich space usage with the minimum material was the target of the architects.

This Project is a renovation for a SPA, Kaatsu and beauty salon located in the center of Nagoya, Japan. We insert the space to provide drinks being always aware of health and beauty, such as fruit and organic vegetables.
Matsushima Tree House – Japanese Project
Tree House Creations built this tree house completely using local wood. A lot of the time for this project was spent peeling the bark off of the trees that were sourced for the development. Everybody involved was devoted to do this and complete the design.

Ito represents the visual complexity of Tokyo metaphorically in terms of a never-ceasing, ever-changing wind. The tower, a light sculpture that responds to wind speed and directions, was designed years before anyone else explored the use of photo-responsive glass or ‘interactive architecture’ in the same way.

The monocoque form made of concrete was inflated and squeezed, following the necessary spatial volume at the living room, cutting space and the wet area. The stiff structure enabled a sash-less detail of glass and the exterior wall aligned in the same surface and realizes the exterior that emphasizes various facets.
Karuizawa Villa Nagano, Japan House
The original idea was to hang the internal space with a structural timber frame like a hammock. Two levels of comfortable space open up to the outside and hovers over the ground maximising the view and emphasising the ‘living in the trees’.
