Esja Architecture & Arkibygg Arkitektar present the Ring of Bjólfur, a ring-shaped viewing platform on the slopes of Mount Bjólfur, in Iceland. The platform overlooks Seydisfjordur, a narrow fjord with steep mountains in East Iceland.
Riverside View House was built in 1967 and got a facelift and an extension in 2020 designed by Berglind Berndsen Interior Architecture. As a result the interiors were modern and mixed with late mid century modern furniture and lights in southern Iceland
Harpa – Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre, designed by Henning Larsen Architects in collaboration with Batteriið Architects and Studio Olafur Eliasson, has won one of the most prestigious architecture awards worldwide, The European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award 2013.
