Check out Ring of Bjólfur, Seydisfjordur, by Esja Architecture & Arkibygg Arkitektar, a simple concrete structure atop the rugged landscape. This architectural intervention is a ring-shaped viewing platform on the slopes of Mount Bjólfur, 650 m over sea level.

Teiknistofan Tröð wins 1st prize in open two stage competition in Reykjavik, Iceland: pedestrian and bicycle bridges designed in the shape of a triangular pyramid. The deck is held up with steel wires that connect to the top of the pyramid.
Design: OOIIO Architecture – submission for an international ideas competition to build a hotel in Iceland. In Reykjavik, Iceland capital they wanted to build a big new hotel in Ingolfstorg, a public existing plaza in Kvosin, the city historical center, very close to the Iceland Parliament.
The project was initially submitted for a 2008 competition held by the Icelandic power transmission company, Landsnet, in conjunction with the Association of Icelandic Architects.
