The project for the Tamina thermal baths is the result of a two-stage competition from 2003. The aim of the first phase of the process was to coordinate the large pending architectural interventions in terms of town planning.
This Norwegian residential project is a result of a private architect competition, where the owner wanted proposals that took care of an optimal terrain adaptation. The waterfront plot was part of a protected landscape.
This new summer cottage, “built-in” into the existing mountain profile, is well adapted to the view and to the owners needs.

Kaffeplassen Norway “coffee spot”: the site got it’s name from earlier days when people in the area used to enjoy their coffee and snacks overlooking the Telemark canal in the evening sun.
Two private residences over the same theme, but with different plans. Both buildings are situated on a site with a nice view and thus have panorama windows formed as protruding corner baywindows.
