These awards, which recognise outstanding achievement by structural engineers from all over the world, are organised each year by The Institution of Structural Engineers.

Design: +tongtong, Architects. Multi-disciplinary studio +tongtong recently completed a boutique retail space for Black Toe Running, a new high-end running store situated in downtown Toronto.

Design: Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai, India. MPavilion 2016 will be 12m high, made of bamboo with a roof encased in earth representing the Australian landscape. Adorned by an elaborate tower similar to a ‘tazia’ used in Indian ceremonies.
Renewal Design: Ollier Smurthwaite / SixTwo Architects. The Toastrack proposal is to refurbish and re-use the post-war Grade II listed Hollings Park Campus buildings. The unusual Brutalist building was designed by the city architect and completed in 1960.
