Architects: Consortium Lemay and Atelier 21
An innovative Canadian first for a heritage preservation project of its size, the new glass envelope that will protect the Grand Théâtre de Québec is a Lemay and Atelier 21 consortium design and the winning solution in the cultural complex’s architectural competition.
Architects: ATELIER BRÜCKNER. The Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang has opened its doors. It is the largest centre of automotive culture in Korea, a brand world used by car maker Hyundai to present itself to a broad public.

The new campus will be located in the Guangming District, where the Dongguan Yellow River meets the Gongzhu Mountain, and will house medical and science facilities for 20,000 students.
Design: Gluckman Tang Architects. This 165,000-sqft exhibition and art storage facility for contemporary art adapts the economical and flexible building system of industrial sheds and the scale, massing, and form of early industrial mill buildings.
Architects: Aedas. Located on the north bank of Suzhou Creek and within the business area across Sichuan North Road and Zhapu Road in Shanghai, Aedas-design Shanghai Landmark Center enjoys a prime location with excellent views towards the Northern Bund and Huangpu River.
Design: John Robertson Architects. Work has begun on John Robertson Architects’ renovation of Bracken House for Obayashi Corporation, with contractor McLaren beginning strip out works ahead of a refit that will complete in 2018.
