This white, monolithic housewill reside in a suburb of Frankfurt. From the street it will appear impenetrable, so delineating a clear demarcation between the public and private realms.The building’sfront elevation is articulated as a series of windowless blocks, its recessed entranceway the only glazed element of its north facing façade.

Oberhausen Bridge Sculpture – 2 Apr 2013
The 406 m long pedestrian bridge across the Rhine-Herne canal is part of the project EMSCHERKUNST 2010. Artist Tobias Rehberger envisioned a colourful ribbon wrapped in a wild, swinging spiral connecting two parks. Initial tests on the technical feasibility soon showed that the spiral, which was supposed to appear as light and vibrant as possible, could not act as support structure for the bridge.

This is the new building for the State Fire Brigade School in Wurzburg. In the summer of 2012, gmp were awarded the contract following a negotiated tendering procedure and the company has now presented its design to Wurzburg’s Commission for Urban Design and Architecture.

20 months after the ground breaking ceremony, ksg handed over the synagogue to the Jewish community of Ulm, Germany. The large window with the Star of David pattern indicates the direction of Jerusalem. Federal president of Germany Joachim Gauck held the opening speech.

With its highly innovative project, Henning Larsen Architects has won the international architectural competition for Siemens’ global headquarters in Munich, Germany. The building will cover 41,000 m2 and will be a spearhead project in sustainable design in an urban context, incorporating state-of-the-art technology produced by Siemens.
