Kingdom of Bahrain
Officially the Kingdom of Bahrain this is an island country situated near the western shores of the Persian Gulf in the Middle East. It is an archipelago with Bahrain Island, the largest land mass, at 55 km (34 mi) long by 18 km (11 mi) wide.
Saudi Arabia lies to the west and is connected to Bahrain by the King Fahd Causeway while Iran lies 200 km (124 mi) to the north across the Persian Gulf. The peninsula of Qatar is to the southeast across the Gulf. The population in 2010 stood at 1,234,571, including 666,172 non-nationals.

The site contains ruins that form part of the UNESCO Pearling Path. The entire building functions as the entrance to the cultural heritage and the foyer for the medina.

This was a single family home which we designed in an upmarket locality of Bahrain called Amwaj Island. The Clients wanted modern architecture and well defined interior areas and high in design value with as less of decoration as possible.

The new building for client the Bahrain Defence Force will be designed to the highest international standards of healthcare provision, bringing first-class cancer care and research facilities to Bahrain in a ‘translational’ environment, where research advances are used to directly benefit patient care.
