Comano, set at 5 km north from Lugano (Ticino), is a little village at the foot of a hill. The plot is set as a kind of boundary between the hill and the new urbanized area on a flatter surface.

This one family house is situated on the northern coast of the Lake Mälaren in central Sweden. It is set in a former recreational area where, in recent years, most of the small weekend houses has been either extended or replaced by catalogue housing.
The house in Stocksund is a thin block with cut-outs for light, double-heights and a roof terrace. Using the full width of the property it separates the front yard facing east from the garden in south-west.
A house organized as a spiralling sequence of four large rooms in four levels. These big spaces without a fixed hierarchy let this house invite the inhabitants to organise their lives following their own preferences.
The starting point is the direct relation to the dramatic archipelago landscape with the objective to offer within a simple frame – a platform – several diverse readings of the relation space-nature.
