People make sports great. We can all agree that if nobody is watching the NBA the sport will quickly vanish and the athletes won’t receive such mind-blowing salaries.

That is where NBA arenas come in handy. It is a place where NBA fans gather to watch their favorite teams perform, and people make the entire sport more interesting, especially in the NBA since fans can very close to the players.

Unfortunately, NBA arenas were shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak, and they had to deploy a virtual audience, just to make the match more interesting. With that said, we need to see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope that the situation we’re in will soon be a thing of the past and we can go to our favorite arenas and socialize with other people.

  1. Madison Square Garden

In the heart of New York City, we have the amazing Garden is the most popular arena in the history of the sport. This is also proven with social media mentions, where The Garden has more than 800,000 hashtags.

It is the home of the New York Knicks and despite the fact that the Knicks are not what they used to be, this doesn’t stop people from visiting the arena.

The arena’s iconic spherical shape and its capacity of 20,000 making it very interesting for fans.

  1. Staples Center

Now we are traveling to Los Angeles, California, and the Staples Center, home of the two most successful teams in NBA history, the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. The Crypto.com Arena opened in 1999 and was known as Staples Center until December 2021.

So, the next time you visit LA, make sure you visit this arena even if nobody’s playing. This is also the arena where Grammy Awards are usually hosted.

The capacity of the stadium is not that amazing with only 19,000 seats, but it is definitely one of the most beautiful arenas with showrooms, museums, and action-packed shows.

Barclays Center is one of the most beautiful arenas in NBA history. It is a multi-purpose indoor arena in New York City, Brooklyn. This arena is home to the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty.

Additionally, the Barclays arena is also used for concerts, conventions, and other events.

The Barclays Center was built back in 2004 when Bruce Ratner purchased the Nets for $300 million and decided to build a new stadium. It is an amazing arena that costs $1 billion to build.

The color combination from the pinewood and the club green colors makes this arena one of the prettiest, especially for an IG snap. TD Garden got more than 250,000 hashtag mentions which makes it a popular visiting destination in Boston, Massachusetts.

It is home to Boston Celtics as well as a venue for hockey and concerts. It is estimated that around 3.5 million people visit TD Garden each year.

The arena is renovated back in 2019, and it looks amazing.

The United Center is an indoor arena on the near west side of Chicago, Illinois. It is home to the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks of NHL. The arena is named after its corporate sponsor, United Airlines, and it is one of the places where excitement goes through the roof, especially on NBA matches.

The Arena has a capacity of 21,000 people and if we compare numbers with other arenas, it certainty runs far behind. For instance, it was built back in 1994 with a construction cost of $175 million and it was renovated in 2019 with a construction cost of $302 million which is much lower than other areas.

With that said, the arena has a rich history and it is home to one of the most successful teams in NBA history the Chicago Bulls.

  1. Moda Center

Moda Center forrmerly known as Rose Garden (which is a much nicer name) is home to Portland Trail Blazers and it is one of the most popular areas in the National Basketball Association and there is a good reason for that.

With a capacity of 19,000 NBA fans per game make matches even more exciting. The arena construction costs were $262 million and $440 million in 2019 for renovation.

It is definitely one of the most modern and sophisticated arenas in the NBA.
