Andre Kikoski Architect completes the restaurant Sophie’s at Saks Fifth Avenue in Chicago, inspired by Sophie Gimbel, the iconic fashion designer and arbiter of American style at Saks for 40 years.

The architecture forms a dreamlike scene inspired by a forest turned into geometric shapes, capturing the essence of the organic and taking it to an industrial environment.
Wood and iron blend in a reflection of the tension between the industrial, the geometrical and the cold on one hand; and the organic, the curved and warm on the other. The dining area becomes a big stage where the great show cooking takes place and fills the place with dynamism and vitality.
Located on one of the most scenic waterfront lots in Sausalito, Barrel House Tavern occupies 5,000 sqft on Bridgeway Avenue. CCS Architecture receives a IIDA Northern California Chapter Honor Award for this building. With 140 seats, the restaurant features an enormous Carrera marble bar, a cozy lounge, wood fired pizza oven, and waterfront seating with breathtaking views of the Bay and San Francisco beyond.

A pioneering new project in Dingli, Diar il-Bniet, the first agritourism experience of its kind in Malta has been launched. Centred around a Café, Restaurant and Grocery, Diar il-Bniet will provide an exciting platform for Malta’s finest produce to be sold straight from the Farm, in an environment that celebrates the family tradition that encompasses farming in Malta.

The project was designed to serve as an event and exhibition space for the garden festival in Weil am Rhein 1999. The suggested structure does not sit in the landscape as an isolated object, but emerges from the fluid geometry of the surrounding network of paths.
Design: LATITUDE Architects. Coffee shops, restaurants, libraries and the likes became indubitable extensions of our own place. In this particular occasion, the architects have been commissioned to explore the possibilities of combining the functions of a standard coffee shop settlement with the idea of public visual art.
The space is organized with two floors. The first floor has been opened up by erasing all its façade and, therefore, becoming an extension of the public space.
Design: Agence Jouin Manku, Architectes. This project comprises a four star hotel and the Michelin 3-starred chef Marc Haeberlin’s first brasserie. Les Haras allies architectural creativity and technological innovation, two particular areas of French expertise, with philanthropy, an unprecedented mix for a historic redevelopment project in France.
Architects: May Noradee Properties + Designs. A full interior architectural refurbishment of the basement and ground floor of a Grade II Listed building within the Conservation Area of the prestigious Covent Garden Market Square. The interior design result from an evolving design brief and collaborative effort between May Noradee Properties + Designs and Pacata’s brand designer based in Japan.
Architects: Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF). King’s Court and Carriage Hall scheme for Capital & Counties Properties PLC (Capco) has achieved planning consent from Westminster City Council. The proposed development, in the heart of the Covent Garden district, includes a new pedestrian passageway connecting Long Acre and King Street, a new public courtyard, and new retail, restaurant and residential space.
Design: LK Architects. The cafe enriches a neighbourhood of cafes and restaurants in the Pafos centre. A conversion of an abandoned kebab house, it is the first of its kind, a combination of cafe and patisserie.
“Poczekalnia” (which in Polish means “Waiting Room”) is a restaurant inspired by the prison. Not only the interior but also the name of the restaurant itself is a kind of metaphor, because the prison itself can be euphemistically described as a kind of waiting room
The entire interior was done in white and black pop-art colours, with the addition of orange fabric – as a characteristic element of clothing of convicts in prison.
Occupying a lot at Alameda Jaú in the Jardins district, in São Paulo, Brazil, Deliqatê is a restaurant specialized in gourmet sandwiches and is the first enterprise from this group of investors whose intention is to take it to other capital cities in the country.
This project is located in a one way street with a main urban access in Tehran. Which is in fact, an interior design reconstruction of a store in a way to make a new definition of a brand new restaurant.
