Architect: Aedas. Shenzhen Luohu Friendship Trading Centre is a redevelopment of a current department store to be renewed into a new skyscraper with a 7-storey retail podium at the heart of Luohu in China.
Design: Emre Kuzlu, Ertuğrul Yurdakul, Architects. This structure embodies with Bien’s essence – the ceramic tiles inspire the design. Being an inspiring landmark positioned on a prominent highway intersection, the building design provides a strong statement for the company.

An interesting concoction, a far cry from the simple podium and tower of Lever House in New York! The tower form widens out at its base into a fluid series of verdant balconies. Below this a golden ‘slab’ floats above a lower, amorphic base that ripples along the street.
