Design: Daniel Marshall Architect. The site for this residence was a steep basin sloping down to the north east facing a sheltered bay on the eastern side of Waiheke Island. Two 100 year old Pohutakawa trees marked the transition from the earth to the sea.
Architects: FAK3 . The idea of the house was to create a ribbon-like structure that sweeps through the floors in a sequence of twirls. This gives an exciting transition through each level and the void space created by the stairs acts as a light well, drawing natural light into all levels.

Design: Zecc Architecten. In the rural area north of Utrecht a compact recreation house has been realized. The house is constructed in wood and opens its façade with window shutters towards the green garden
Design: mode:lina, architects. The layout of this building has been designed by its function. The parents and two children, wanted to live independently. Therefore it divides into separate areas – on the first floor allowing adults to enjoy peace, while kids can go crazy in their “own house”.
Often overlooked possibilities for the position and design of stairs can lift an otherwise ordinary loft conversion. With the benefit of a good architect’s vision there are various clever options.

One of Austria’s most popular attractions with an average of 600 000 visitors annually. Snøhetta contributed with three main elements to the expansion; a playtower and adjacent playground, a shop entrance, and a café / restaurant area.
Architect: Justin Everitt: sleek and chic, this stunning Floreat property is set on a prime 450sqm corner block in the Perry Lakes development. The eye-catching home was designed and built by Grandwood by Zorzi.
Design: Hufft Projects. Taking design inspiration from a vintage Polaroid Camera, the form of the building is intended to frame the scenic setting from every angle – creating ‘postcards’ from within. It is all about the views and the experience
Design: Polsky Perlstein Architects. The clients asked for a custom home that would capture light, views and celebrate their life together. The site has South and West views over the San Francisco Bay toward Sausalito and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Design: iarchitects. The intervention converted the space of the residency, a seventies building distinguished by a complex geometry in a new two levels house, flood with natural light and open to the surrounding hills.

Design: The Purple Ink Studio. The King’s House occupies a strategic location in the heart of Bangalore city, but the site is a quiet hideout from the hustle-bustle of its surroundings.
