A record 57 entries were submitted this year and eleven short-listed projects located within the Edinburgh Chapter were visited by the judging panel in early April 2017. Awards were made in five categories: Large Project; Regeneration and Conservation; Small Project, Wood and Ambassador
The competition for projects and visions in sustainable construction had 5,085 entries by authors in 121 countries. Valid entries will be examined by independent juries in five world regions.
The Royal Society of Architects in Wales (RSAW) announced today that four buildings have been shortlisted for the RSAW Welsh Architecture Awards – the first stage of the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Awards 2017.
12 shortlisted buildings include Compton Verney Chapel and Landscape Project in Warwickshire by Purcell and Jaguar Land Rover Engine Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton by Arup.

Thirteen buildings have been shortlisted for a 2017 RIBA Yorkshire Award by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). They include a visitor centre and museum, a theatre, a housing development, and a biomass power plant
Shortlisted architects include a crisply formed luxury house by New York’s Richard Meier & Partners Architects with UK architecture office Berman Guedes Stretton.
