This building is generated by two direct decisions that respond to two specific problems. Firstly, to seek the most spacious, resistance structure on which to rest landscape-offices without altering a previously built underground parking.
The design strategy conceives the large depth of the space as a quality of its own and therefore organizes the various uses of the tattoo studio by positioning three simple volumes of different heights along the enclosing wall.
The new IDOM Group offices are located in the old bonded warehouse in the Deusto canal, in Bilbao. It has 14,400m2 destined for offices, research and development areas such as the white-room and the prototypes workshop, and social spaces.
As the tubes of the metro network are generated by excavating and perforating the ground, the access is created by cutting the pavement in correspondence to the superficial world.
