A new impressive retail and office building has been created at the Liestal Station Square. The striking six-storey building occupies the triangular site between the station and the head office of Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB).
This building is made only on four pieces of walls and roofs. The primitive constitution showed the possibility “that a person seemed to be able to spend somehow”. In fact, it rises in joy and presence of mind and discovery here.
The new Cancer Care Center in Næstved is located in close proximity to the regional Hospital. The purpose of the center is helping anyone affected by cancer through professional help in exceptional buildings specifically designed for this.

In the fall of 2008 TYIN travelled to Noh Bo, a small village on the Thai-Burmese border to design and build houses for Karen refugee children. The 60 year long conflict in Burma forced several hundred thousand people to flee from their homes. The conflict leaves many children orphaned, with little hope for the future.
The new sanitary building houses the basic needs of the orphanage; the toilets, personal hygiene facilities and laundry. The internal structure was already built and became the framework for the project.
The Old Market Library is built in a 100-year-old market building. The section for the library measures 3×9 metres internally, with a back yard facing a small canal.
Klong Toey is currently the largest and oldest areas of informal dwellings in Bangkok. More than 140.000 people is estimated to live here, and most are living in sub-standard houses with few or no tenure rights or support from the government.
