Design: Luigi Rosselli Pty Ltd – Architects: This hill top house is a concrete expression of Armidale’s unique meeting of rural life and culture, “agri-culture”, a town with a university and many other cultural institutions. The clients combine agribusiness with white collar occupations.

The Birthplace of the world celebrated star of English Musical Comedy, Beatrice Lillie known as Lady Peel, is over a century old, located in downtown Toronto, is now rejuvenated and playing a new character. With respect for the actress who once lived there, the house inherits a talent: playing a new role while living in the same skin.

Design: Bruce Stafford Architects. This dramatic renovation centres around a spacious internal courtyard defined by natural rock face and lush vegetation. Large sliding glass doors in the main living area enable a seamless flow between inside and outside. The living areas also have the added benefit of glazing on the north façade which opens up the house to the view.

Architecture firm Goettsch Partners designs new resort and meeting destination on China’s Hainan Island in Haitang Bay. Developed by Poly Real Estate Group, the complex features a 729-key resort hotel and serviced apartment tower, a 28,000-square-meter International Finance Forum convention center, a series of connecting retail buildings, and a modest visitors center.

LEED GOLD FOR NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY
The Student Union Building at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico has achieved LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects in joint venture with Studio Southwest Architects, this highly efficient and sustainable facility is responsive to the American Southwest climate.

Design: Bruce Stafford Architects. As the house is set lower than the road with living spaces opening back toward the street, a lightweight timber screen filters street views and creates privacy, yet allows light and ventilation to the private living spaces. The house has two living levels; the primary living level opens out toward an elevated view and the lower living area flows out to a pool deck and private courtyards.
