The 100,000 sqm project, known as the Home of Staff, was won by the architects in an international competition. ‘Foster + Partners: the Art of Architecture’
“The Art of Architecture” will be staged at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre from 4th April to 29th June 2014, with Permasteelisa being a major partner of the exhibition.

The Zimmerman House is a house located in the north end of Manchester, New Hampshire. It is a Usonian house designed in 1950 by Frank Lloyd Wright for Dr. Isadore and Lucille Zimmerman.
Design: Pierre-Stephane Dumas. This frameless, virtually roofless Bubble is inflated by a special turbine which keeps it in shape, renews the air and eliminates pollen, humidity and condensation problems.

Architect: Amyas Connell. Famous Modernist English house. The head of the British School in Rome seems an unlikely person to commission the first Modern house in England. But it was the archaeologist, Professor Bernard Ashmole who, in 1928, asked one of his students, a young New Zealander called Amyas Connell to design his family home. The building design evolved as a Y-shaped plan to optimise views and sun.
Design: Barrionuevo Sierchuk Arquitectas. The site for this property is 2.000 sqm, facing the northeast, looking at the Canal Arias river, in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. The new building is 450 sqm in area and it is designed for a couple without kids.

The government of Miami approved a revitalization plan—a plan that includes the taxpayers of Miami paying costs to the Herzog & de Meuron’s firm. Miami taxpayers paid $100 million toward the cost of the museum.
Worthy of asking but not of discussion here: Are taxpayers getting what they paid for?
