Design: Broissin Architectes. Inspired in the movement of a conductor’s baton, the building design is composed of five concrete roofs moving up and down in harmony to give shape, space and light to the project. Each roof represents a staff’s line, always straight, constant and parallel.

Design: Rado Iliev Architect. The steeply wooded site is almost landlocked: The 1960s house is perched on the top of a hill, almost completely hidden by mature oak trees and shrubs.

The building focuses on the concept of trinity of architecture, interior design and landscape. The architects take “float” as the core of the trinity concept, so the designs of architecture, interiors and landscape are all centered on it.
Architects: MVRDV – The Couch, a new club house for the young tennis club, which was founded in 2010 on a new artificial island in the east of Amsterdam. The roof of the 322m2 building is folded upwards and downwards to act as an informal spectator tribune for the club.

Large cultural building that resulted from an open international competition won by Polish / Japanese design team. The building provides for music, ballet and theatre performances as well as congresses within three main halls.
The Address Dubai skyscraper fire – fire engulfs 63-storey The Address hotel in Dubai ahead of a major New Year fireworks display. The hotel and apartment complex was designed by Atkins.
Design: Martin van der Linden, Architects. After a devastating earthquake and tsunami hit the town, a request to help came from a ‘longtime friend’ of Yamada machi in The Hague, the Netherlands. This group offered the town a facility where children would have a place to play, heal and come together.
