White House – Contemporary Norwegian Residence
Location: Strand, municipality in Rogaland county, south west Norway

Situated in a quite dense suburban setting, the house twists dynamically between sheltering for privacy and opening up for angles of vistas.
The central space of the house stretches between the morning light between the pines towards east, and the western horizon of the Oslo fjord.
The house is clad with painted wooden panels, outside and inside. Walls and ceilings on the first floor are finished in oak, while floor and walls of the ground floor are exposed concrete casted on site.
