Residential Development Holland, Zierikzee Apartment Building

Recently finished apartment building in Zierikzee (the Netherlands) designed by our Rotterdam-based architects.

This first building (the second is to be built later this year) is part of a newly built neighbourhood where we designed a number of individual dwellings earlier.

The design for the apartment buildings departs from a reinterpretation of typical commercial warehouses.

Fully clad in aluminium, both buildings distinguish themselves by their vivid colour and specific treatment of the facades.

Kingma Roorda Architects is a Rotterdam based office which aim is to achieve a stable architecture driven by contextual conditions and aiming at timeless solutions for tomorrow. Sustainability is the result of an integrated approach, where space, material, (use of) energy, water and mobility have equal attention.
