SANAA at The Danish Architecture Centre
THE EXHIBITION
Featuring the world-renowned and Pritzker Architecture Prize awarded Japanese architects, Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, and their design studio SANAA, the exhibition offers insights into an architectural world that constantly expands and explores the play of light, the tension between exterior and interior and the interaction between man and physical space.

The exhibition will present the new Rolex Learning Center and other prominent projects from SANAA including: 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art (Kanazawa), New Museum of Contemporary Art (New York), Garden and House (Tokyo).

The exhibition is accompanied with five serial works of the Italian artist Walter Niedermayr, who has become world famous for his photographic and artistic interpretations of the relation between space and photography. Niedermayr has on his own initiative photographed SANAA’s architecture, and has created a photographic collection of their works as seen through his own artistic views. The exhibition features brand new works of Rolex Learning Center.
The exhibition runs from 19 June – 1 October 2010.
