On the very end of a small village in the South Bohemia region, in the area intertwined by the well known south bohemian ponds, there grew mini house serving as a hideaway from the busy city life.

The concept of the house comes from the classic rural archetype. The added cube pragmatically completes the mass of the house with the gable roof. This joining of the two volumes comes from the internal disposition, is therefore evident from the interior as well.

The house situated within proximity to the pond allows direct contact with the exterior thanks to the full glazing of the front face.

The design of the main living area is generous, and the double-height of the space allows it to feel spacious despite the small floor area. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen unit, dining table, and a rest area. The bed and work nook are on the second floor. The worktable oriented with the direction of the glazing offers a calming view of the water. A subtle steel staircase with wooden treads connects both levels.

The second part of the house is designed as a relaxing area, where the bathroom transitions to a sauna. The sauna has a view in the direction of the pond.

The garden is an integral part of the design. Rocks creating a border of the sandy beach reinforce the bank. The stone material continues to appear in the garden on both the reinforcing wall and the cladding of the front face of the house.

The external look of the house has a clean design with the use of white plaster with the anthracite galvanized sheet metal roof. The wood-aluminum windows complete the whole.

The load-bearing elements in the interior are left visible. The subtle steel staircase with wooden treads and other steel furniture complete the I profile steel beams. Wooden elements and color-neutral accessories complement the rest. The outdoor scenery changing with every minute is the dominant interior motive and creates unique atmospheres.
