Design: Arkitema Architects. The new addition to the school in Denmark creates a further 460sqm of space, which can accommodate 100 children, spread across two floors. The extension houses three classrooms, a common room and a double height workshop as well as a large roof terrace.
Design: Chauriye Stäger Arquitectos. This commission involved the revamping of two old houses, with a third building incorporated as an annex. The challenge was to merge all three properties into one corporate building.
Design: Di Vece Arquitectos and Francisco Morales Dufour. The concept is to create a processional scheme, a peripheral pathway around the building that promotes an introspective process in preparation for the religious ceremony and for a personal spiritual seclusion.
Design: KZ Architecture. An artist’s studio addition to an existing home serves as a catalyst to transform a back yard into a series of terraced outdoor rooms, pulling an indoor lifestyle out into the subtropical climate. Nestled between mature oak specimens in the front and a lake in the rear.
The first new law school in Canada in 30 years opened its new home at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. The building design by Diamond Schmitt Architects revitalizes an existing campus building with an iconic two-storey addition.
Design: Daniel Marshall Architect. The site for this residence was a steep basin sloping down to the north east facing a sheltered bay on the eastern side of Waiheke Island. Two 100 year old Pohutakawa trees marked the transition from the earth to the sea.
Cruz y Ortiz 1/200…1/2000 Exhibition at the Museo ICO in Madrid. The exhibit shows over 40 years of the professional history of the estudio Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos. It includes original models and sketches of key buildings.
Design: Bates Masi + Architects. Straddling freshwater wetlands and a tidal estuary just six feet above sea level, the Northwest Harbor house’s site demands extraordinary sensitivity to environmental concerns.
Taiwan Architecture Awards in 2016. The First Prize goes to the Yuhsiu Museum of Art, designed by the AMBI Studio. The building design finds a harmonic relationship between the natural environment and man-made structures.

Design: Zecc Architecten. In the rural area north of Utrecht a compact recreation house has been realized. The house is constructed in wood and opens its façade with window shutters towards the green garden
Design: HENN, architects. Functional areas that have to work together intensively in the early phase of product development are combined. Above the workshops, there is the styling area with the two large, double-storey studios.
