Whether building off-grid or in water-challenged areas, planning for clean drinking water just got easier.

Hydropanel R3,® a sustainable and fully off-grid technology that uses the power of the sun to extract an endless volume of clean, reliable drinking water from the air. SOURCE meets or exceeds water quality standards outlined in the Safe Drinking Water Act and local standards at SOURCE installations worldwide.

“Globally, we know that over 2 billion people don’t have safe drinking water at home. And in the U.S., issues with foul wells, failing infrastructure, and fetching bottled water are commonplace. The Hydropanel R3 gives architects an easy and cost-effective way to meet drinking water needs,” said SOURCE Global Founder and CEO, Dr. Cody Friesen. “Our technology enables us to provide high quality, safe drinking water essentially anywhere on the planet”

Because the Hydropanel R3 was designed with consumers in mind, professional installation isn’t necessary. When fully installed, the 4′ x 6′ and 44″ tall and 340 lbs (dry weight) Hydropanel produces an average equivalent of 180, 16.9 oz bottles of perfect drinking water, every month. The R3 Hydropanel comes with a 4.8 Gallon under-sink storage tank; 20-gallon and 40-gallon tank options are also available and can be connected to the-under-the-sink tank to provide more water storage for larger families or in areas where there may be prolonged cloud coverage. Tanks can connect to any dispenser that supports 80 psi.
